There were 8 ratings of 1.00. Despicable, IMHO.

Please help make the ratings higher.

11. Secretary Rumsfeld Regrets
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/washpost...

>Rumsfeld was resolute when asked about reaching the 1,000-casualty >mark, emphasizing the need to continue the fight against terrorism >despite the sacrifices.
>
>"When combined with U.S. losses in other theaters in the global war >on terror, we have lost well more than a thousand already," Rumsfeld >said. "And we certainly honor the courage and sacrifice of every man >and woman in uniform who has served in Iraq and who is currently >serving there."

Golly. Maybe NOW they'll start greeting the coffins when they come home.

13. Because that's the kind of thinking that lets them get in
That's the kind of thinking that allowed bush to steal the White House in the first place. It was a fucking coup d'etat and no one did anything about it. Had we only known.

Sorry, but every little bit helps, and I'm royally pissed off.

16. Pretty hard to fight that kind of massive denial.
"If I vote to make it go away, it won't have happened."

Jeez, if I were writing a textbook on primitive defense mechanisms, I could find them all exemplified in Freeperville.

17. Ugh, do you have any idea how many
non-Americans would LOVE to have a vote this year?

(Why not? That story would be no nuttier than the one from 2000.)
