Terrorism or fascism - Cheney's threat
I'm torn which one is it, can it be both.

What Cheney did was inexcusable, the White House won't say they support it but we know they are all cheering like giddy pre-teens at a pep rally.

I think he should be locked up for tampering with an election.

1. Electing Kerry would REDUCE the likelihood of Terrorist attack.
The Terrorists, and especially the Saddam loyalists in Iraq, are motivated by their hate for Bush and if Bush were not President we would remove one of the Terrorist's incentives...to strike back at Bush. There would be less likelihood of Terrorist attacks if Bush were not President, not more likelihood, as Dick Chaney has suggested. Islamists believe Bush is a Crusader and the Great Enemy. The United States will not be able to make real progress on the War on Terrorism until Bush is gone.

4. Can Cheney ever tell the truth?
These are the same folks who assured us that we would be greeted as liberators in Iraq and that there were WMD to be found in Iraq. They also continue to lie about links between the Saddam regime and 9/11. I agree with davidhan and feel that if Gore had been president then there would have been much less motivation for the 9/11 attacks.

2. Who is the "White House" that says they will not support it?

Cheney is the vice president for crying out loud. Is there another White House somewhere that we do not know about? That is the most ridiculous attempt at denial and blame someone else yet.

3. Cheney is a terrorist
Terrorism is defined as "The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons."

That is exactly whay Cheney is doing.

5. Fascist terrorism. A threat.
Kinda like the guy in Germany did some 70 years ago.
It sure sounds like Goering, I mean Cheney, is giving the voting populace a warning about bad things that will happen if they dont elect the Fuhrer in November.
