Dan Bartlett has now been proven to be a flat-out liar.

During the run-up to the 2000 campaign, Bush spokesman Bartlett told the Washington Post that Bush had completed some of his reserve duty requirements with a Boston-area unit. Unfortunately, it has now been irrefutably established that Bush never joined or even trained with any unit in or around Boston. Bartlett's comment ... "I must have misspoke." Yeah, there's a lot of that going around. I'm beginning to think this finally is developing some legs, folks. At some point, even the corporate media is going to have no choice but to face the fact that the President of the United States went AWOL, tried to use family and government connections to cover up his dereliction of duty, and has lied about it ever since. I only pray that Senator Kerry puts his foot on the bastard's neck and keeps it there.
