Bush released Saudi Terror Suspects to gain approval for Iraq Invasion
Saudis freed Britons in a secret swap of prisoners
By Andrew Buncombe and Kim Sengupta

http://news.independent.co.uk/world/middle_east/story.jsp?story=537952

05 July 2004

Six Britons convicted on terrorism charges in Saudi Arabia were released last year as part of a secret three-way deal in which the US set free a number of Saudi prisoners being held at Guantanamo Bay. The deal was brokered to obtain Saudi support for the invasion of Iraq.

(Saudis really do have Bush in their pocket, don't they? He had to get their approval, I mean support, for the Iraq invasion, by releasing terror suspects!

1. We can all take comfort that releasing terrorist suspects makes us safer,
so much safer.

4. Well, I was thinking "Are they with us or against us?"
I came to a different conclusion than Mr. Bush, apparently.

Why is he afraid to come clean with the American people? I thought he was supposed to be on our side! What on earth can he be hiding behind all that secrecy? I just can't trust him.

Why did he return the Saudis (9/11 perpetrated by Saudis) and attack the Iraqis (nothing to do with 9.11)? What answer could he give that would make sense? What is the coward from Crawford hiding?

2. well, since they were innocent until proven guilty, and they...
...were NEVER going to receive due process in open court, I think it was correct to release them. I hate Ashkkkroft's brand of freedom-- the freedom to rot in prison without trial.
