Help in FL?

Earlier this evening I watched Sen Gram request a bill seperate from the homeland budget for aid to FL since the promised aid for Charlie still hasn't arrived and Francis has hit also. The homeland budget covers like 10, 12 or more agencies with FEMA being one of them. Gram said he was given the uderstanding that the President was going to do a seperate bill for FEMA and FL aid relief in a couple of days. 1 hour later I saw the president tell the country that he has given all this special funding to FEMA to help in the aid in FL. Looks like Mr. Gram ( who showed his disbelief on the senate floor) was given a mistaken impression.

Nothing "mistaken" about it. Cold political calculations all the way.

He's a retiring Democrat and the GOP wants that seat, plus he has out a scathing new book about the 911 Commission Committee and Bush's massive failures.

this may be what loses Fla for shrub!
