There are now two news organizations actively at work (and at least one of them is pretty far along) on a story about just why Bush was having those problems in the Guard in 1973. With that in mind, now my might be a good time to press a few more specific questions.

..They all just schmoozed with the "likeable, regular-guy" candidate Bush, who gave them all cutesy nicknames.. They swooned, and we all got screwed /...bigtime..

And , of course NOW when they DO investigate, the * gang just says.."this is OLD news..it was talked about before he was "elected".."

Of course, the real culprits are the press people and the Democratic Party big wigs in TEXAS... They had him in their arena when he was running for congress, and again when he ran for Governor.. ALL the dirty laundry should have come out then (while most of it still EXISTED).. Some of the info was probably "scrubbed", but there had to be a lot more available back then, than there is now..

This lightweight should never have been allowed to become governor....let alone president..
