I know this isn't a church, but it uses churches to acquire business http://www.christianmortgageusa.com/?affil=303-090604

The Christian sensibilities of Bush's "christians" are surprisingly ignorant of what a Christian does and does not do. Why is this? Don't they know how hypocritical they look? Do they do it out of ignorant confusion or on purpose for financial fascist's agendas?

Maybe its just that there is this critical mass of them who are just simple minded Pharisees who have mistaken superficial "make-up" for reality and just don't ask questions.

1. Paul's loophole
Paul said faith alone was sufficient for salvation. Fundies take that to mean that anything goes: they can lie, steal, cheat, kill, blaspheme, and generally treat the rest of the world like shit because if they believe, they will go straight to heaven no matter what. Kings and emperors have used this loophole for centuries, and now both plotocrats and serfs have discovered it.

They don't act Christian because they aren't Christian. They're Paulist.
