I like Conservatives!

They want America to stay right where it is domestically, and that's an understandable, if cowardly, position.

I loooove progressives however, because they want America to improve, and that takes some cajones!


However, the current administration is neither. By screwing with education, social programs, and the media - they have earned the moniker "regressives"

It's not a battle of who thinks we're doing just fine and who thinks we can do better anymore.

Now it's a battle of who wants to take America backward and who wants to move her forward.

2. "Conservatives" don't want to keep things as they are

They are trying to bring our income disparity back to where it was during the Gilded Age.

Or perhaps their model is Mexico, where the 10% of the population that are wealthy live in mammoth palatial walled haciendas, and only venture out the gates in their bulletproof SUVs when they have to navigate their way through the 90% of the population that lives in desparate poverty.

A rather radical philosophy, not "conservative".
