Novak's whiny ass little opinion...
Novak's latest column, about NYC during the RNC

>Delegates and journalists mistaken for delegates were attacked as anonymous lackeys of the global economy. Unfortunately, many demonstrators recognized me from my television appearances and condemned me as a ''traitor'' because of the CIA leak case, some suggesting I should kill myself. I had to resort to using a security escort to move a short distance to fulfill commitments for CNN.<

6. It's an insult to every American

for CNN to keep him on the air. Does he have to kill someone? Isn't the Plame treachery sufficient?

7. Much is missing from his column
I have no doubt that those protestors hate George W. Bush and spewed a lot of invective towards his sychophantic supporters last week, but Novak's column misses two points. First, did he ever condemn this same kind of pathalogical hatred in the 90's directed towards Bill Clinton from the Right? Granted, they were less inclined to take their message to the streets, but that's because that approach was not necessary due to the many wealthy donors to the anti-Clinton cause, like Richard Mellon Scaife. Second, there is no acknowledgement in the column of how the policies of the Bush Administration may have brought such abuse and invective on the RNC delegates. They knew what they were getting when they chose New York City for nothing more than political purposes. They chose NYC, they got what they had coming to them. Had they chosen Omaha, Nebraska or Salt Lake City they would have been received more warmly. There is no "right" to courtesy or friendliness or hospitality. I would think a conservative could appreciate that.

10. I suppose...
he thought people would strew roses in his path?

Get over it, Novack. You are persona non grata in the thinking person's sphere of life. Retire. Buy a house in the country. Ruminate with the raccoons and fade from the scene- face your irrelevance. Or go to jail for Palme, as you should. I don't care how you remove yourself from a society that you have infected. Just go.
