1. I'm just wondering....
...if WE could replay some of those Bush ads from the Olympics.

2. Exactly right, and it pisses me off
that all the warnings about the problems an Iraq invasion might cause were brushed off as irrelevant (since Bush had already decided) or wrong (since we all knew there was no choice but to get those WMDs)----and the same dolts who brushed off the warnings now pretend like nobody could have possibly foreseen the danger.

I have to tell the dolts in other fora that I and six million other Americans could see them and therefore were against the war, and if we could figure it out, Bush could have.

Then then complain that I have no "solution" to the Iraq mess, and I patiently explain that if I knew of quick, cheap and painless ways to put Iraq back together again after the invasion, I wouldn't have been against the invasion in the FIRST place. If I had a magic wand, I would have joined the gung ho crowd who couldn't conceive of how this could last more than a few months and pay for itself with oil revenues.

5. Will, With All Due Respect
If you KNEW that we weren't going to be greeted as liberators, then WHY didn't you disabuse this administration of their tossed-flowers-and-candy misconceptions? I mean, couldn't you have -- I don't know -- written a book or some articles or something?

/sarcasm
