I just heard it in the middle while in the car. Boy, the story sure laid it on the line, including how Bush the elder was steamrolled over his action to halt aid to Israel because of their using it to build new settlements. The power of this group is awesome and their arrogance and evil matches their power. It blew my mind as to how ignorant most Americans are about who really runs their government (including myself). I promised myself that I would reserach info about this group on the Net. If I find out which program I heard this on I will post a link.

1. It was NPR All Things Considered
..and I agree. They did a good job.

"The FBI continues its investigation into whether Pentagon employees gave classified information to Israel, using a pro-Israel American lobbying group as an intermediary. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee denies any part in espionage, but is once again defending its goals and methods."

2. A very good resource for AIPAC info and other Middle Eastern News
Go here:

www.juancole.com

It will blow your mind.

I saw this link on a Plame thread, and I've found it to be an incredibly valuable resource. Juan Cole is a professor of history at the University of Michigan. He spent ten years in the Middle East and speaks Arabic. On his blog he has provided very detailed explanations of what's going on behind the scenes with AIPAC, the neocons, and the Israeli spy case, and also has excellent daily updates on what's happening in Iraq.
