RATHER, MOYERS & KELLEY: George's "New" Trifecta

RATHER, MOYERS & KELLEY: George's "New" Trifecta

As I type this, on the evening of the 3rd anniversary of 9/11, Bill Moyers is exposing the intelligence failings of BushCo that could have prevented the attack. Using largely Condi testimony before the 9/11 commission along with Clarke's, he's exposed the truth. They knew and did nothing. Nothing.

Keeping us safe, war on terror?

Forget about it George. A lie.

Dan Rather, on the CBS Evening News, 60 Minutes and other press appearances has ripped open the truth about Bush's special treatment in getting his TANG assignment and his failure to even complete this minimal service. He stood up to the shitstorm of corporate media faux outrage and laid out the facts with courage and accuracy.

Honorable service?

Forget about it George. A lie.

And next week Kitty Kelley will expose the fetid, evil underbelly of the entire Bush dynasty. Adulterous, drink and drug-sodden, criminals who have held power they never deserved and consistently abused it to further enrich themselves and their entitled friends.

A good 'christian' man?

Forget about it George. A lie.

John Kerry can sit back and watch the triple-decker trainwreck, comfortable in the knowledge that the smears directed at him have been proven to be lies while the entire facade that is GW Bush and his clan is proven to be what we've known it was... LIES.

1. NOW was an incredible timeline
of the incompetence and ineptitude of the bush administration.

anyone who saw it should have an extremely hard time voting for him.

i'm going to make as many copies as possible and give it to selected repukes.

the level of outright indifference and neglect is outrageous.

2. These are good
Would it be unexpected for the RW talking heads to blame all this "uncomfortable for the ditto-head" information on the librul media?

Sometimes I wonder exactly how fucking awful he would have to be to get substantially less than half the votes.....I mean, WTF would he have to do?

Regular programming is delayed......hope they air this one.

Rather sounded hoarse and almost inaudible on the news tonight BUT righteous in defense of CBS's story!

Suck hard on it Boo$h!

5. NOW does repeats in my market (NYC)
if you can't find a listing, CALL your local PBS station and ask when it will be replayed. let them know there is interest in the segment!

esp. during a pledge, they want to know WHICH shows are garnering interest...

6. Tampa station is hawking "Unfit for Command" as a donation gift.
Trying to pacify the crybaby "conservatives". Pissed me off (not that they offer conservatives a choice but that they're offering such blatant bullshit). Viewers were whining because they were advertising Molly Ivins appearance tomorrow night in Sarasota.

They seem to be following normal programming since 'The McLaughlin Group' is currently on.

15. WEDU (Tampa affiliate) did air this show and the phones went
CRAZY after it ended. I called up to voice my objection about the 'Unfit' gift offer and the woman who answered said a LOT of people were saying the same thing. She laughed and told me that most of the 'conservative' pledges (at $120.00) were asking for Tommy Franks book instead.

btw the station had a challenge for left vs right viewers and the last update I saw the lefties were winning 80-20. :D

p.s. I donated on my mom's behalf earlier this year.

14. It wasn't supposed to air last night in the KC market
Edited on Sat Sep-11-04 07:47 AM by classicfilmfan
The lady doing the pledge drive said they'd been inundated with phone calls for NOW and so they just pushed it back one hour to 10 pm.

I thought this was an excellent program and it was incredibly damning to the administration. Also pisses me off that Clinton coulda had him (Bid Laden) if the Rethuglicans hadn't been screaming "Wag the dog!" I think
Newt, Ken Starr and Co. should be held accountable for the deaths of all those people...

on edit: changed "indundated" to the correct "inundated" Hey, it's still early here! :boring:

13. Sharon Bush feels left out! Sharon knows in her heart that Neil
is unfit to work around financial organizations. Much like the Air Force wouldn't let junior around an airplane, after he was busted for cocaine.

17. I think Michael Moore's F911 also deserves honoroble mention.
If Bush gets into the White House again, then we know for sure that we are no longer living in a free country.

18. of course...
I was writing about these three NEW forces swirling around bushco this weekend. no doubt that F911 has 'softened the target' but, as we've seen, nothing but relentless, multi-flanked attacks will bring him down as long as corporate media will happy to LIE for him.
