Why did Rove get the call on 9-11??

This is something that never occurred to me until it was mentioned tonight on Bill Moyers.

On Sept 11, Carl Rove called Andrew Card at the school in Fla to tell him about the planes hitting the WTC.

Think about that a minute. The first high ranking member of the Bush administration to receive information about the attack on our country was not the president's chief of staff, or a member of the national security team.

It was the political advisor.

When Rove called to inform Card he failed to send instructions to the brain dead chimp. So what you have is a blank monitor with it's courser flashing for seven minutes.

Rove didn't call Card, he was there.

But Moyers stated clearly that it was Rove who told Card about the attacks. If they were both there, it's even more damning. An attack on the nation, and the political advisor is informed before the chief of staff?

7. Nope...that story isn't credible. FratBoy's motorcade in Florida had a...

...state-of-the-art communications vehicle to supplement the systems in the presidential limo. They were on their way to the elementary school in Sarasota when they learned about the FIRST WTC attack. But that's only if you believe that FratBoy and his NeoCon groupies didn't have prior knowledge about the pending attacks.

But yes, Andy Card came into the classroom to let FratBoy know about the SECOND attack. I suspect Card got the information from the same source in the motorcade from which the earlier attack was reported. And that led to the infamous "seven minutes" with FratBoy looking like he was trying to remember the speech he was to give later.

Personally, I've always thought that the NeoCons had prior knowledge of the the events of 911. FratBoy stated at least twice after 911 that he saw the FIRST plane impact the WTC and stated that he thought at first the pilot was really a bad pilot. And that has caused me to speculate that the limo was getting a closed-circuit feed from the WTC well before the attacks took place.

As to Rove, he was made aware of the first attack when everyone else was made aware.

9. Laugh if you want,

but in some bizarre way, in my mind's eye I always picture Rove as the final monster from one of the Hellraiser movies (can't remember which - Hellbound maybe?) with the giant cables attached to his head, weaving in the air. In his case, of course, the cables would be locked into the latest news and information just waiting to use his Machiavellian(sp?) gift to sow more evil and discord...

10. I just watched the show.

I heard the same thing. That the information of the first plane impact in the WTC was delivered to Card in the motorcade outside Booker Elementary in a "PHONE CALL FROM CARL ROVE."


I'm sure that is what was said in the Moyers show.

11. Well, he was probably one of the chief planners of 9-11 so why shouldn't

he have the honors? Cheney was busy coordinating it all so he didn't have time to notify the Chimp that they had successfully pulled it off.
