9/11 What the Republicans won't talk about.

Why were we attacked? Why the World Trade Center? Why the Pentagon? Why the other plane was headed to the White House. The Bush administration proclaims on a daily basis that we were attacked by these people because they are religious extremist and they hate our freedom and our way of life.

What they don't say is that the majority of the hijackers were Saudi's a country that is far from a democracy, and we don't oppose their Royal family because we many years ago got them to sell out thier countries natural resource's to us at the expense of the average citizen of that country and to the benefit of the top percentage of the wealthy in that country, at the expense of the poor and middle class in our country and to the benefit of the top 1% of our country.

We all know that you have to do something to someone to make an enemy of them. So Why the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, The White House, and why not our church's. The Trade Center represents the Imperial practices of robbing the rest of the world of its resources, oil, labor etc. The Pentagon is the symbol for the gun used in these robberies, and the White House is occupied at this time by the very people, (PNAC) who are planning and committing the rape and plunder of the rest of the world. If the American people could just grasp this concept then Bush would be in trouble. Thats why he continues to wave the flag and talk about "Freedom" and "Family Values" to hide the real reason anyone in this country should fear terrorism. The American people are not the target of the terrorist. Terrorism is defined as acts of violence to bring attention to a groups cause or plight. Thats why they are not attacking the American population in general. Think about it. That would be a very easy and relatively risk free operation for them. Two nut snipers held a portion of this country in terror for over a month conducting just this kind of operation. This kind of operation would hurt the terrorist cause and they know it. But the Bush people want our people to think that they are all in danger imminent danger. Keep em scared and stupid and they will vote for us.

1. What Dim son menat to say: "They hate us for our freedom . . .
Edited on Sat Sep-11-04 08:29 AM by PNR
...so I'm going to take away as many freedoms as possible, then they won't hate us anymore."

on edit: "Of course, I'm still going to attack Iraq cuz our oil is under their soil & my friends at Halliburton could use a few billion dollar no-bid contracts after the financial mess they made of things."

If it weren't so frickin' tragic, the whole thing could be funny.

2. Here's something else not on the front pages:
Look closely in your newspaper and maybe on page two or three you might find a small paragraph about a prisoner being released from Guantanamo after 2 1/2 years of being in prison because, OOPS, he didn't do anything wrong. This is a human being who was removed from his home and his country and sent to prison. He was denied any trial or hearing, was denied any sort of due process and now is being released because he's innocent - not "not guilty" by our legal standards, but INNOCENT. Seems he wasn't an "enemy combatant" after all. After three years, no one seems to be paying attention to the prison in Guantanamo. Human Rights should mean "rights for humans," not "rights for American humans." Rumsfeld should be held accountable for this because it is nothing short of criminal.

3. And, the US government has made it clear this prisoner will
not be eligible for any monetary compensation, either. "We have seen the enemy, and it is us" MKJ
