Who owns the History Channel? They're running Saddam Bio on 9/11...
Could the programming on the History Channel be any more obvious? Running "Saddam Hussein: Butcher of Bagdad" biography on 9/11 is a poke in the eye for those who lost loved ones on this day...but, of course they don't give a shit. The only thing that's important is to further obfuscate the truth that SADDAM HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11.

Jesus, I used to love this country.

3. Capital Cities bought Disney? I thought Disney bought Capital Cities
I am aware of the propaganda operation you described. ABC was quite critical of the establishment until a CIA front company Capital Cities bought them out and muzzled Sam Donaldson & company.

Here's another twist: former Democratic congressional leader George Mitchell is now a Disney officer (president?)and may succeed Michael Eisner after he finally leaves as CEO.

5. William Casey? I thought he died not too soon after being out of the CIA
And, his death was somewhat circumspect?

8. Thanks for the info. on William Casey. Have never heard this before.
Edited on Sat Sep-11-04 10:13 AM by JudiLyn
Went and checked, and learned he, Lowell Thomas, and Thomas Dewey co-founded Cap. Cities. Oh, YUCK.

Most of us have had no idea what has been happening all along. It's good to find out, even if it's much later.

On edit:

I understand that his death was a barrier (unless you accept Ouija Boards!) to our Congress's being able to question him over Iran Contra. He left in the nick of time.

I have seen timed programming before, but nothing as blatant as running a Saddam Bio on the hour (first plane hit) of the anniversary of 9/11. Prior to today, I was fighting the notion of timed programming as a figment of my own paranoia...

6. I just fired off an e-mail to the History Channel.
I was very irate and asked them why they were showing a documentary of Saddam Hussein on the anniversary of Sept. 11. :grr:

13. That is a pretty damning photo. At least the Pentagon appears ?able
I've always been bothered by the lack of structural damage at the supposed impact zone on the Pentagon. Very strange, indeed.

read some of the posts, especially by RH, in the 9/11 forum before making judgements about supposed "lack of structural damage".

12. ABC is connected with them.. It sucks now..
When we first got cable it was to get the History Channel, Discovery and The Learning Channel...

Now they All SUCK.. mY HUSBAND IS A wwII 'expert' and sometimes he almost screams at the the TV.. They get so many facts wrong..They mis-dentify aircraft and have totally wrong information..

It's sad really, because lots of teachers USE these channels as a teaching tool..

Is it any wonder that some kids think the US borders with Peru :)

15. They did show a program about the 9/11 Commission Report
on Thursday night that was very damning to the * admin. I think it will play again today (I hope so). It basically stated that no one was in charge of the government on 9/11 -- that no one was running things or taking charge. The program said * was not in control, that Condi was lost and that even if the order to shoot down civilian crafts had been given, no one was following the orders.

It was very damning to this admin and I was surprised that it was shown. It even had the footage of the clown-n-chief sitting like a deer in headlights in the classroom, referred to it is very controversial and said it was longer than 7 minutes that * failed to react to the news of the attack.

I recommend catching that one, videotaping it and sharing it with all the pro-idiot folks you know!

And thank God I live close enough to the border so that I can get it on cable.

I don't know what I would do if I couldn't watch The National every night.
