If pictures capture the real person, I'm in big trouble. I have, in my 44 years, taken maybe 10 good pictures out of every single time someone pointed a camera at me and pushed the button. The picture taker is usually embarrassed at the results, repeating things like, "this looks nothing like you." I've also seen, every year, some of my students take really bad pictures which do not represent who they are at all.

GWB's pics are bad because he isn't very attractive to begin with, and he's always either smirking or pouting. But there are plenty of good people who take bad pics.
