Democratic consultant Pat Caddell has scathing words about CBS memos

Just got a heads up to watch Democrat consultant Pat Caddell on Faux News. He is convinced they were fake and had some harsh words about whoever faked them.

"There are some idiots in the Democratic party who continue to do things that don't hurt President Bush and do hurt John Kerry."

I also suspected the memos were fake right away and the more I read, the more I'm convinced that's the case. Caddell pointed out something that I hadn't considered yet.

He was on the board at West Point. He knows military protocol. He said the military is very stringent about standards and formats for communications. He pointed out that these memos do not conform to standard military formating and abbreviations.

CBS has egg on it's face. Some here who continue to insist these memos are real are only making it worse. These memos are fake. I believe so, and so does Pat Caddell. Let's quit digging a hole here.

Sometimes reproach is necessary. This memo debacle is one such instance. It's embarassing to see how some here grasp to the hope that these memos are real. They're not. CBS was had. Pat Caddell has the balls to say so.

Such concerns might not have been so stringintly followed/enforced in the National Guard

Weren't these notes for a personal file, not official documents for transmittal and filing ?

Rather already pointed out that superscript is on other Guard memos.

I have a family member who was in the Gaurd for most of his life, I used to hang out there all the time growing up - I know for a fact that not everything is run lockstep in that place...

Not every type-writer is going to be the same. Not everyone is going to do everything in exactly the same way.

That being said - I question your motives for this post.
