19. Yes, he was. I savored that show over several reruns.

Michael Moore made mincemeat out of him. He had the complete ill-advised idiocy to start off, in the opening of the show, by trying to make a joke (ostensibly, I suspect, to show that he was a fun-loving, "nice," friendly, harmless Republican, by telling Michael Moore that - by the end of the program, he was going to make Moore into a Republican. Moore dismissed that outright. Later on, Dreier brought it up again, and Moore, obviously fed up with that crap, turned to him and said "If I do, will you call me a flip-flopper?" The audience ROARED at this one! This exchange came about, by the way, after both Moore and Maher scored several points against this turkey by pointing out quite a few real-life examples of how stupid and nonsensical it is to call someone a flip-flopper.

Shortly afterwards, Dreier disappeared. You began to notice that, when the panel was shown, you only saw Maher on one side of the table and Moore and a female former Canadian government higher-up. Dreier had been sitting at the end of that side of the table, next to the woman. So, instead of a four-shot, it was a three-shot. When the camera finally pulled away at the end of the show, to a wide shot of the stage, you could see Dreier's chair at some distance AWAY from the table, indicating he had pushed it out of the way as he'd gotten up and walked off the show prematurely. Didn't say goodbye, either, or explain that he had to leave early. You just realized after a moment that he was simply - no longer there.
