FOR THOSE OF YOU DISTRAUGHT OVER THE POLLS...
Keep in mind the long-term trend. Take a deep breath, and get back to work.

1. Exactly
I think too many people here our stressing out too much over the polls.

The only polls that matter are on Nov. 2 and if we just keep on working hard we will get Kerry-Edwards in the White House and Shrub back on his way to Crawford.

3. I'm distraught over the press, not the polls....
I don't see any easy quick fix for that....

5. Fortunately, the media harlots
can't pull the lever on your behalf. Forget them and their polls and look around you. There is a groundswell of epic proportions underway that will be the final nail in the Liar's coffin.

8. Let's see what Kitty Kelley's book does.
The media cannot resist delicious dirt. It will put bush on the defensive. The tabloid TV shows will eat it up.

10. I have a feeling they'll resist this particular piece of dirt.

They seem to be very selective in their tabloid interests. I can think of no better example than the current Bush TANG stories.

When offical Army record on Kerry's heroism is questioned, the story is "is Kerry lying?".

When offical government records on Bush's cowardice are exposed, the story is, "why is the news lying?".

I have a feeling that the Kitty Kelly book will get a few days coverage and then it will be over. The next Republican dirty tricks campaign will get 3 weeks.

12. I think the non Murdoch tabloids will run with it.
Kitty Kelley is legend with that readership.

4. Newsweek had him below 50% again today. 48% now.
Lets push for 36% after the debates. That would give him one point less than his daddy after Clinton and Perot made him look at his watch.

6. Aaaahhhh! Thanks for that
Whenever I see these polls and say "what the hell?", I try to remind myself that Gore won the popular vote, and the dems will get at least that much plus many disillusioned. On the other side, I'm sure there aren't more than two or three folks who went for Gore in 2000 and are with dimwit in 2004.

9. I will be leafleting campus with a poster that says
Bush 2004
Draft 2005

That will get their attention and maybe get them involved in their future.

11. Don't give up!
There is so much factual ammunition that can be used against the current administration it is almost too much to deal with.

13. * is always talking about "The Divine"
Now, he means this as in: "The Divine Right Of Kings to Oppress Their Subjects."

Let's all hope ( even those of us who don't believe in much of anything anymore ) that there is someone or something "Divine" out there who will send some true JUSTICE *'s way. I am hoping for a miracle of Epic proportions, something to wake up the sleeping electorate.

Turn your energy toward this end. A lot can happen in a month. * must GO DOWN.

And Unokier, thanks for the chart. The truth in a graph for the non-believers....
