Question: What date in October will the evil chimp and co. parade out OBL?

Unless they catch or kill him in October that is.

I don't believe it is possible for them to capture him and keep it a secret for anything more than a day or so.

He may already be dead, but if he is the coWard and his cronies don't know it.

4. What if he's in Saudi Arabia under the care of the family who

supposedly has nothing to do with him? I personally don't believe that the Saudi Royals don't know where he is... but that's me. I have a sinking suspision that he's going to surface at the most opportune moment.

2. One good guess is that it will be the last day of Oct.

That way, they don't even have to really have him but can just announce that they do. Maybe show some poor pictures of a body double or something. By the time it is confirmed that it is not really OBL the election is over and they have fooled everyone. Of course, the WH and Rove will have absolutely nothing to do with this trick.

7. That kind of trick could bring them down anyway.

It could very easily lead to a result worse than Watergate in terms of public and cogressional uproar. Very likely resulting in the resignations of the coWard AND Cheney. Of course that would result in President Hastert, but at least we get rid of the real s***bags.

and rely on the media to carry the story. All someone has to do is send a grainy videotape showing OBL supposedly in the custody of someone's military to Al-jazzara along with a believable story. If it looks like they're going to lose anyway, they may try it.

he is alive and well OR he is dead. IMHO the tape would have said he was captured.

11. The question I have about Al-Qaeda REVEALING a capture is

what would that do for maintaining his following? Bin Laden is prophet-like to his believers... revealing capture would humanize him and shatter the faith of his followers. If he were dead on the other hand, they would sing it because it would make OBL a martyr and galvenize his teachings in the minds of sympathizers and the effects of that would be felt the world over in the form of retribution. IMO

12. yes but all Bush cares about is how it looks to the voters

and he never wants to talk about how the organization has spun off a thousand new heads and that another leader will arise right after, etc. All he cares about is his deck of cards and to be able to go to the American people , probably around 10/25, and say we got bin Laden. And I swear many Americans will then think our problem with terrorism is over.

but I may be misinterpreting... as for chim-chim there is no doubt that he would use OBL for political gain while giving no thought to the consequences globally. I think it would be a mistake to kill him, however tempting to the former "Death Row" Governor of Texas, for the very reasons you site in your post.
