Questions on the supposedly forged memos?

Would someone actually be stupid enough to try to create them in MS Word? That's seems about on par with someone trying to counterfeit money with a scanner and a color printer.

Can't these tests be done?

1. Wouldn't a typewritten memo have impact indentations of some sort easily detected by the touch? I suppose someone could print this with a dot-matrix printer, but wouldn't the indentations be a bit different?

2. Wouldn't the paper be visibly aged, or easily tested to see if it is 30+ years old? If you're dumb enough to forge a supposedly type-written memo on a word processor, you're probably not smart enough to dig up 30 year old paper.

3. Can't they run tests on the ink used on the paper?

1. I don't think CBS has the originals, so it has to rely on other

aspects to verify.
