BAGHDAD, Iraq(AP) Militants pounded central Baghdad on Sunday with one of their most intense mortar barrages ever, targeting the Green Zone and destroying a U.S. vehicle along a major street. At least 25 people were killed and more than 100 were wounded _ some of them when a U.S. helicopter fired at crowds around the burning vehicle.

Elsewhere, a suicide attacker detonated an explosives-packed vehicle at the gates of Abu Ghraib prison, killing himself but causing no other casualties, the U.S. military said. American guards fired at the vehicle before the driver could reach the gate, the military said.

Tawhid and Jihad, a militant group linked to al-Qaida and led by Jordanian terror mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, said it carried out Sunday's coordinated campaign of violence in Baghdad _ the Abu Ghraib bombing, the mortar barrage and attacks on central Haifa Street.

1. Fear Not !!! Leezie is going to be on Face the Nation. She will
comfort you and tell you how much safer you are. And I am glad I know who is going to be on, so I won't waste my remote batteries surfing over to CBS to find out who is on.

You won't be seeing this on the Sunday morning "news" shows....

Women gather to mourn the death of Saad Muchawet and his three sons, Haider, Ali and Karar, at Sadr City, Baghdad, Iraq (news - web sites), Sunday Sept. 12, 2004. Locals said the family was shot by U.S. soldiers while travelling in a car early in the morning as fighting from overnight continued into the morning in many parts of Baghdad. (AP Photo/Karim Kadim)

5. KKKKarl knows many women are pissed
having many women pissed at you is BAD JUJU. So Condy is the boob contingent sent out to dismiss and discredit our anger.

PLUS: She's probably the only fool left in the Administration they can talk into answering canned questions. She's the ultimate * cheerleader. If Iraq continues to deteriorate, Honey Sleezy, all your hot air for Bush is gonna curl back and burn you.....:puke:
