I can't wrap my mind
around the fact, that "we" seem to want a leader who is "decisive", even if those decisions are stupid stupid stupid. Just watched MTP and Woodward keeps asking "who is John Kerry". Well, goddammit, he's a man who will THINK about these complex issues and work to find the best possible solutions. Not some damn cowboy who will just shoot you dead, then ask "oh, were you talking to me?"

Is the average American just a big ole dumbshit?

Sorry for cursing, I'm just speechless and dumbfounded!

1. I prefer a president who is uninformed and refuses to
read newspapers!

That damn liberal media...

2. How about this:
- gays
- women
- Muslims
- Catholics
- Jews
- poor people
- middle class people
- small business owners
- anybody who values privacy

and

- non-white people

who say they are voting for Georgie. That plumb freaks me out.

3. Freaks me out, scares me, and
shouldn't surprise me, as I'm a college professor. The average student can't put two words together in a coherent fashion. Failed education system leads to election of imbecile president, geez!

Which is the better place to live? Switzerland or Holland?

God help us!

4. Check your premises...
Ive always went back and doublechecked my thought processes anytime I get to the point where I think everyone is stupid but my team. Its very easy and human to be drawn into a myopic viewpoint.

Most people arnt stupid, they are simply percieving things differently. The goal is to find out why, which view better models reality, and if required - shift your viewpoint or convince them that you have a better alternative...

Just dont jump the gun to "their all stupid" - it sounds a bit condesending.

5. Spell-check baby! I understand your point, but Americans seem to defy
the concept of intelligent thought. They are too self-absorbed....sports, shopping, family, playtime, etc...We are so far behind the rest of the world.
