1. Well, it wasn't much. Little Colon Katie did the Interview
The white house didn't respond. Segment wasn't nearly long enough but maybe a few more people know who Mr Hersch is now...

2. Sy Hersh deserved a much longer spot
but it's better than nothing.

She did say that the WH has never responded to Hersh's articles.

3. Interview was "disjointed"...
Edited on Sun Sep-12-04 06:26 PM by Flubadubya
This interview was obviously HEAVILY edited, so much so that it was hard to follow the segué from the question into the response. Hersch's response was never direct and spontaneous. You could tell that every time he answered, lots had been cut out. No telling what he really said. Did anyone else catch that?

I was pretty disappointed with this. And with Stone Phillips' "disclaimer" afterward, saying a high level Pentagon official thoroughly dencounced Sy's story, I don't see how it really helped our cause.

But, then, of course, what have we come to expect from our media?

4. Katie and Stone are Fluff Journalists
but hey, they at least brought this to light. Maybe the media are deciding they don't want another 4 more years of * either. Who knows....

5. "Fluff" journalists? More like "fluffer" journalists...
... more specifically, Chimpfluffers.

7. It was easy to tell it had been edited. Katie's attitude was
predictable. I watched NBC news tonight because CBS had tennis. I think all the other networks, including NBC, have turned on one of their own--CBS. Another slime-filled bit about the Bush TANG papers being forgeries. I have speculated about why they do this, but for the life of me I can't understand why they are propping up this corrupt admnistration. Is it money? Is it access? What will they do when Kerry wins--do the Gore attack on him? This is not the country I knew several years ago. Not only have we become the laughing-stock of the world, we have lost ourselves. There are several good journalists out there in medialand, but they get dissed every time they open their mouths to tell us real news.

8. Her Attitude is predictable isn't it?
Like she has a corncob stuffed somewhere and she's talking to some criminally insane freak that she doesn't have time for because she needs to take care of the corncob but hey its my job and I need the money so I'll take a few moments to ask you a few questions but i don't believe a word you say and...oh...I can parrot a Repuke keyword like, "streamlining" so don't say i'm politically unaware but....Ugggg. Still, i'm glad Seymour got some coverage.
