he was on Wash. Journal this a.m. (c-span) and when a caller asked about the nukes Israel has, etc., Graham said that what nukes Israel had or did not have is a "mystery".

oh please!

Why would he say such a thing?

2. Bob Graham said the same thing(s) re: Goss this weekend

Bob Graham was being interviewed live on the Guy James Show on Saturday and he said he thought that Goss was an outstanding choice for the head of the CIA. I did a double take myself on that one.

I wonder where his mind is at exactly these days as I await a copy of his new book Intelligence Matters! :wtf: is right!

4. And I do a double-take everytime I see DUers praise Graham

as some sort of saint, a wonderful Dem leader. He's been "wonderful" on one issue (and I do appreciate that about him), but IMO he's NOT a great Senator, or even a great Dem. Now, I have no idea how well he performed as Gov. of FL, but as a Senator, he's left a lot to be desired IMO. For one thing, he's too close and involved with the intel community, which always makes me nervous -- as can be seen I think in his support of Peter Goss.

Too, he's a conservative Dem. Certainly not in the mold of a Zell Miller, but a conservative nonetheless.
