1. Been doing that already
CBS is the way to go! On the Net I depend on Reuters and the variety of international news sites from Google and if I happen to watch a national news cast it is always CBS.

2. Sorry. Devoted to Olbermann. But I'll watch CBS, too, and snub CNN.

3. I am happy, CBS just opened an office in Lima OH
Now I can get local CBS programming. Yes, a good portion of MSNBC and nbc, fox, and abc are worthless anymore.

11. I will wholeheartedly support CBS, but
you should know this story.

The other night I watched a new DVD, "Orwell Rolls in his Grave" and there was a story about the 2000 election.

Greg Palast had released the "purged voter rolls" story and CBS called him up and asked if they could do the story. Palast was thrilled and told them to run with it. Days went by and he didn't hear the story anywhere so, he called CBS. The people who were going to do the story said that they had decided NOT to report it because......get ready!.....THEY CALLED JEB BUSH TO ASK HIM IF IT WAS TRUE AND JEB SAID IT WASN'T SO, THEY KILLED THE STORY!!!! I'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor!

With THAT in the back of my mind, I will support CBS. :hi:

15. You're right! We should only patronize this ONE network!
The ONE telling the truth! The others don't deserve any of our business!

16. Please what woud people on here do....
If they couldn't watch cable news and then spend their time bitching about it on the internet or making cryptic posts with absolutely no details.

Cable news is useless and influences next to nobody, especially considering that their average viewership is less than a million people. And I guarantee a large chunk of that is liberals watching it and then complaining about it ad nauseum.

17. Why doesn't CBS have a 24 hour news service?
And speaking of 24 hour news, when is Gore getting his network on the air?!

18. Dan has been our man for years
We always watched Uncle Walter and loved him. When he left we kept right on watching CBS and have always been happy with Dan's "hard-news" journalistic expertise.

19. Oh - horseshit.....(NOI)
CBS needs to toughen up - vet their stories a bit more, and let's get on with it.

Stop buying products if you hate all the other networks...that's where they get their power and money...

If you can't turn your TV off, how can you expect others to do so?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my idiot box - but I don't look to it as a source of fact, only flavor.
