Al Michaels on MNF

After Al Michaels interjecting his right-wing political views on the ABC football audience, I was wondering if anyone was able to get through to ABC sports and send an e-mail after last Thursday's nights game in Foxboro. I tried several times and my mail was sent back because of "routine maintenance" being done on their website. This was not the first time this guy has put forth his political views in an off-handed manner during a broadcast. In case, you missed it, during a period in a game after Madden mentioned there had been a sort of a flip-flop in the game, Michaels said something to the effect that "that's appropriate for this state"- a clear slam on Kerry. I have always liked MNF but will not be listening to this guy again and will be complaining to ABC again tonight.

2. Boy that really sucks

Especially since Michaels is a very good play by play guy. He needs to call the game and leave his personal views out of it. I believe we should all email ABC and let them know about it. Perhaps if one can't get through via the ABC sports website, ESPN may be able to link up with it. Just a thought.

I sent them a note asking them to give Michaels a job on one of the thousand or so hate radio stations or cable "news" stations, and let us enjoy MNF without listening to RW spew. they never wrote back...
