Did the CIA assassinate Aussie Prime Minister ?

Australin Prime Minister Harold Holt was famous for inventing the prase : " all the way with LBJ !"
and during an anti-Vietnam demonstration in Sydney while escorting Lyndon Baines Johnson in a motorcade ordered his chauffeur to 'drive over the bastards"

Holt, who had only been Prime Minister for 18 months mysteriously disappeared of a Victorian beach in 1967 while skin-diving giving rise to a number of rumors:

1.he rendezvoused with a Chinese submarine before being outed as a spy

2.he was about to be outed as gay

3.that he was assassinated by the CIA before he could withdraw Australian troops from Vietnam.

Significantly, Holt was having private doubts about Vietnam and his replacement increased Australian forces..it was not until the election in 1973 of anti-Vietnam Gough Whitlam that Australian troops were immediately withdrawn.

Whitlam was dismissed by the Governor General in a Parliamentary crisis always rumored to have been engineered by the CIA in 1975.
