Edwards, who has been stumping solo for the John Kerry-John Edwards ticket, will hold an education discussion at Lincoln Center Elementary School in South St. Paul this morning. The event starts at 8:45 a.m.

At 12:45 p.m., she'll hold a similar session at John Marshall High School in Rochester.

Finally, she plans to meet with military families at a private home in Mankato.

Onetime Democratic presidential frontrunner Howard Dean plans two appearances in Edina this afternoon. He will hold what is being called a "Democracy for Minnesota Town Hall Meeting" at a home located at 6900 Hillcrest Lane. Dean is the founder of a political action committee called Democracy for America.

He also will sign advance copies of his new book, "You Have the Power," at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore in the Galleria shopping center.
