".........it is my firm conviction that the Father will be voting for the Republicans this fall......It would also impress Him that the Bush administration is smiting foes in the Middle East, which is surely a source of nostalgia for Him, especially as Iraq was the site of ancient Babylon.

....
Indeed, in the last election, the Father showed His hand, saving his people when all seemed lost by sending down various plagues upon the Democrats, including Florida's Katherine Harris, herself worse than locusts.

The Son, however, seems more likely to vote for the Democrats. At first blush, this would seem a bit ungrateful, especially as President Bush and his supporters make a great show of being His followers. But just as they know in Texas that a cowboy can be all hat and no cattle, it is also possible that some people can be all Christian and no Christian charity. By their fruits ye shall know them, the Son said.

The Son hung out with tax collectors and other low-lifes. He was compassionate but he wasn't much of a conservative. He was soft on crime -- always going on about forgiveness and telling people that they had to be without sin to cast the first stone, which would put Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh out of business. The Son would be against the death penalty, in that He was the most famous example of its unfairness. He said the peacemakers were blessed. He placed the first brick in the wall of separation between church and state when He said, "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's ..." With respect to Mr. Keyes, it seems to me the Son would vote Democratic............."

2. The Holy Ghost would cast a lot for Nader
That leaves us to consider the Holy Spirit. Because the third part of the Trinity is everywhere and unseen, and moves people to speak in tongues that make no sense to anyone else, the Holy Spirit seems a natural to vote for Ralph Nader, whose supporters have many of the same attributes.
