Gov. Howard Dean

Former Democratic presidential contender and Vermont Gov. Howard Dean has said his failed presidential campaign threw the first punch in what could be "a real fight for the soul of the Democratic Party." In his new book, "You Have the Power," Dean advises his party to move to the left, and he claims that Americans are disenchanted with politics because they believe they can't make a difference. As you might guess from the title of his book, Gov. Dean disagrees.

11. This is really an excellent interview.
I know what I post about Dean is usually ignored, but at least I hope folks realize he is doing a good job for this country.

This board has shut him out. Totally. It is too bad.

Maybe folks are listening anyway.

12. I agree and thanks for posting the link.
He gets to the point. He answers the tough questions in a simple, honest forthright manner. I wish Kerry could learn this from Dean...while I agree with much of what Kerry says...he's too verbose.
