Why do repugs hate our Constitution?
By that I mean the court system. They act as though a civil law suit is just a way for lazy people to score unearned money. We all know that if corporations, HMOs, etc. and aren't forced to "hurt" and pay up when they cause harm then they'll never do the right thing - it's been shown again and again. Remember the Pinto? Firestone ring a bell?
The repugs say they're all about the rule of law and yet they want to limit access to the remedy of the law.
My dad is a retired judge and he'll be the first to tell you that the "frivolous lawsuit" nonesense is just that - nonesense. And he's a repug.

3. it goes deeper
They also hate the doctrine of separation of powers. They think that our system of government, with its checks and balances, is flawed and should be changed so that the courts can't protect the people from the government or the minority from the majority.

5. The constitution was an accident
That happened because the north won the civil war in the 1860's, but
now, they've been able to clean up that wrinkle.

The new constituion is secret. George bush reserves the right to be
beyond the law, and to not tell anyone what the constitution is.
There are some hints... slavery, poverty, inequality, racism and
war are core parts of his constitution. It is a constitution
of the corporations, by the corporations and for the corporations,
and people are but mites that chew on the fat of the real citizens
of the new confederate states of america.

When the tables are turned, how to they act?
