Folks, save your donation $ for the ACLU
There is the Democratic Party, and there is the ACLU...and it seems that only the latter organization is intent on fighting for us.

I'm sorry, but I'm a bit shaken after that House vote.

1. Please tell me what vote you are talking about
What pissed me off last week was the vote in the house on a resolution introduced by Henry Hyde link 9/11 to Iraq. It was house resolution 757

The majority of Democrats voted for it, including Nancy Pelosi

My Congress person didn't, Zoe Lofgrin

2. That's exactly what I'm referring to
My apologies, I should not have assumed everyone knew.

5. In lieu of this week's resolution, I think there is importance
The Democratic Party has given legitamacy to the unfolding horror, which is claiming the lives of Iraqis and Americans as I write this. Excluding a minority of patriots like Kucinich (whom I donated to), the party is complicit in mass murder. The ACLU, on the other hand, remains a formidable bulwark against the men who would destroy our republic.

Those of us with paltry resources should make certain distinctions: punishing one that is craven while rewarding the other, which is strident.
