The Return of Salam Pax
http://dear_raed.blogspot.com/ hasn't had a real update since April; but the BBC has just shown his latest video diary - from Sadr City and inside Najaf in August.

Video here (Real Player): his spot starts 33 miniutes into the programme
http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsa/n5ctrl/tvseq/newsnight/newsnight.ram (available for the next 23 hours, until a new programme replaces it)

2. 'The Baghdad Blogger'
he was writing a blog from Baghdad before and all through the invasion. Some thought his silence meant he'd been injured or even killed in the past few months.

3. Hooray! I've been wondering what happened to him...
Unfortunately, I worried the worst ... glad he's back. Off to visit now...

4. His journal ...
was a fantastic read when the war started. I've loved it ever since and am glad to hear he's alive and well. His friend, the infamous Raed, has his own blog as well: http://raedinthemiddle.blogspot.com/.

5. Don't forget Riverbend..
http://riverbendblog.blogspot.com/

I think they have been censored.

I fall on the ground. My once beloved country is broken. I think the only fix is a quick exit. SO SO SAD...
