The Bush family has been in the public's eye for a LONG time, and there is little doubt that they play HARDBALL X TEN, so what is the real reason why they seem to operate with impunity.

It cannot ALL be attributed to Karl Rove (even though he would be King of the Dirty Tricksters).

That the media skews right, is a given, but even having said that, reporters love a "juicy story" so much, that I cannot imagine one sitting on a fully documented scandal.

The lack of any "buddies" from the guard speaks volumes...to US...but to a large part of the country it is just spun as .."he was such a hard worker, that he did not have time to cultivate friends"...

It's impossible to "prove a negative", but SOMEONE SAW HIM THERE...SOMEONE TALKED ABOUT/TO HIM THERE...

Even the best of "scrubbings" leave telltale paperwork missed..SOMEONE KNOWS ABOUT THESE AND WHERE THEY MIGHT BE..

George was a "man-about-town and ne'er-do-well" for a LONG time ..well into his 27th year, and there HAVE to be people who know things, but are not telling..

Is it loyalty?? fear?? blackmail??

What will it take to get these people to step forward?? If the "indiscretions of a pResident" are so easily "forgiven", they why would private citizens be so reluctant to step up.??

Is there any way to offer protection to these people, or are they really content to sit back and "wait and see what happens"??

I can tell you this...if he manages to stay in office, they will probably NEVER come forward....

So I hope the lot of them can live with themselves for the upheaval that a few words and a little face time on TV could have prevented..

1. Much as I agree with you and wish those folks would step forward...
It won't matter to the Bush supporters, because he says he is "born again" and therefore anything he did before his conversion is now "under Christ's blood" and he's off the hook. What he's done since is a HUGE problem for me...but they give him a pass on that, too, since he says he prays to Jesus every morning. Plus there's the little matter of Bushie never admitting anything he does is wrong, since God revealed to him he's "Chosen" to be our leader.

Now all of this makes me SICK and ashamed of my fellow Christians, but what he does simply does not matter to them. As for me, my mantra is:

BUSH MUST GO!!!

2. The same raw power that has Sharon Bush terrified and recanting her
stories told to Kitty Kelly about the Bush family is what keeps these folks from speaking up.

4. The callgirl, Vicki Morgan was beaten and murdered in the 80s.

She had made the mistake of trying to out some powerful people as partiers.

Some time after she had a new roommate. He killed her in some overheated exchange...supposedly.

Oddly enough, he got off lightly and only served a few years time.

Almost every reporter who came close to cracking important stories about Bush's covert dealings also met unlikely and early demises. Others were fired and blackballed. Robert Parry and Seymour Hersh can attest to that.

5. Very simple
Since 1980 the Du Pont corporation has spent heavily on new and better Teflon formulas which Republicans are deeply invested in.

The final obstacle remaining is breaking the dead hooker/live boy barrier.
