If Bush is elected.
I started this thread for all to imagine the direst things that will happen once the Emperor sees no impediments to his power.

Let me start:

1.Savage attacks will be ordered against all people in Najaf,Fallujah, Baghdad and other Iraqi cities.
2.Iran, Syria and possibly N.Korea will be subjected to aerial attacks.
3.Any domestic unrest will be met with new weapons such as Noise
creators, Anthrax attacks, etc.
4.More and more arbitrary arrests, incarcerations and disappearances will become the norm.

Please continue.........

1. And if Bush isn't
reselected, do you suppose it will be much different? I hardly expect the administration to be willing to fold its tents and leave quietly. I expect they will do their best to manipulate events so they can say, See, it's not safe to change presidents in wartime!

I keep on hoping I'm really just being hysterical and foolish, and that the election will be fair, honest, and open, which means Kerry will win in a landslide, and will be inaugurated on January 20, 2005. Why do I have no confidence that will happen?

2. You are right that no matter what power has flowed out of the hands of the
people in this country in an insidious long term process that may be irreversible.Even if Bush is not elected, the junta in control will make things difficult for any one who is fairly elected.

3. Oh cripes...
I just realized that Inauguration Day 2005 will be my 21st birthday. That means I'm either getting a really good birthday present or a really crappy one, depending on what happens in November.

*prays for a good birthday surprise*

10. I think he'll keep them. They make a very useful Army of God.
In fact, some of them are already signed up and ready to go. Brown shirts in waiting.
