Certainly the repukes will want to spin the insurgency as an attempt to disrupt or influence the U.S. Elections.
I don't think that the GOP should be so honored that the Iraqi's are fighting to influence an election 12,000 miles away.
They are fighting to get rid of an invader and are now gettting organized and the fight is maturing into a guerilla war. Not unlike Vietnam.
So watch as the spin comes heavy from the right that everything is rosy. And the violence in Iraq is a result of "freedom" haters who want to see Kerry "the weak on terror" candidate elected.
If they admitted anything eles it would mean acknowleging that they failed.
These people aren't blowing themselves up to change the outcome of our election. They want to drive us out. Remember how before we handed over sovereignty to the puppet government how Bush co claimed it was all just a desperate attempt to prevent a new government from being formed. That event, our election and the Iraqi election in January are all meaningless to them. But Bush is using these dates as if they represented something important to keep people from looking at the long term. As if once the date pops up on the calender the violence will suddenly stop.
