Fascism Comes to America
When Fascism Comes to America, It Will Be Embraced by FOX News.

"WHEN"??? Too late, it's already here.

In Jan. 2004, Laurence W. Britt identified 14 basic characteristics of fascist regimes and while the list is disquieting for obvious reasons, oddly enough, many also pertain to Moody's memos. Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism? Check. Avid Militarism? Check. Disdain for the importance of human rights? Triple check.

And although those who relied on FOX News were found to be the most misinformed, it wasn't until a series of FOX e-mails was leaked to the press that anyone grasped how "purposeful" the intent to mold opinion actually was.

FOX News chief John Moody samplings:

-Do not fall into the easy trap of mourning the loss of US lives and asking out loud why are we there.

-Also, let's refer to the US marines we see in the foreground as ‘sharpshooters’ not snipers, which carries a negative connotation

-It won't be long before some people start to decry the use of "excessive force." We won't be among that group.

-Let's not get lost in breast-beating about the sadness of the loss of life.

Defining fascism; "A system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the emerging of state and business leadership, together with belligerent nationalism," American Heritage dictionary.

-"Once the war against Saddam begins, we expect every American to support our military, and if they can't do that, to shut up."
-bill o'reilly 2/26/03

Fascism is already here.

1. "It can't happen HERE!"

The fuck it can't.
Read the book by Sinclair Lewis.

Then Read Carl Sagan's "The Demon-haunted World" for insight on why your mother-in-law traded her beanie babies for magic 9-11 teddy bears....

I heard a story today about how research into GM Bentgrass, a favourite at golf courses, showed that the pollen can drift at least 14 miles, and the GM-traits are present in the wild.

But this is nothing to worry about, because groundskeepers at golf courses ALWAYS cut the grass before it flowers...
S'Yeah, right...

Big Business and Bush's "smaller, more efficient" government are ALWAYS in bed together. I'm waiting for more examples of "legislated customers", as when states started with their mandatory auto insurance...

3. I have the Correct 'basic' definition below. definition has been changed
since the corporate takeovers of publishers..you have to go back 15 years to find a correct one.

from the American Heritage Dictionary 1973...

"A philosophy or system of government that advocates or exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership, together with an ideology of belligerent nationalism"

... another dictionary added, '...biligerent nationalism, racism, militarism, etc..

we have the multinational Corporate business performing a perpetual blow job on our elected leaders. they get tax cuts when they don't even pay taxes... so that is nothing but a Subsidy.

and did Halburton actually get the Money for Iraq..??? are they stealing the Interest on the Billions of taxpayers money.. while the Iraqi's are over 70% unemployed, and have no running water, drink raw sewage out of the river because the treatment plant doesn't work, and have only intermittent power with the temp in the shade at 135* to 140*.. their children cant go to school because they get kidnapped by thugs...????? while the USA thugs..Halburton steal the Aid money...???
