1. SOME Charter Schools are OK
There are charter schools and there are charter schools...some are non-profits that are operated and created by frustrated educators who worked within the public school system and witnessed the manner in which some public schools give up and PUSH OUT some kids....not all charter schools are alike...there is one here in one of the more economically depressed areas of LA that is a stellar example of a good charter school..

BTW..what do charter schools have to do with PNAC? Has PNAC ever written a position paper on them?

2. I currently attend
the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. It is a public charter school where I take high school classes online. I was forced into this due to severe migraine headaches causing me to miss large amounts of time at my old high school. Without PCCS, I would have no way to graduate.

3. oh, I'm hardly saying charters are all bad news,
it's just that whatever PNAC's up to, PPI does ahead of time, with the word "progressive" thrown in at random, as a trial balloon, maybe, or a forewarning. We'll have to keep our eyes open as to what Pres. Yeehaw will be pushing next, as one privatized one just collapsed in Calif.
