Their sole request was that FEMALE inmates be released from the American run prisons.

If that the case the U.S. threw away the possibility to save the lives of three civilians. I don't see how the demands of this current hostage situation affects the future independent consideration and resolution of hostage negotiations.

like damn vultures. I feel so sorry for his wife and family. They were on the local news yesterday asking the press to please give the family their privacy.
