badda-bing! score one for me!
Our Resident Bush Supporter(rbs)at work asked me if I saw Kerry on Letterman last night. (Unfortunately for him he cornered me in the lunchroom with the rest of the employees hanging out at break time.)

I didn't, but I did hear/read about it this morning.

RNS snorted and said "you would never catch bush* doing jokes on a tv show"

(drumroll please)

me: No, bush* doesn't have to be on tv shows to do jokes, his whole administration is a joke

Badda-bing!

4. Remind him about that hilarious...
...comic sketch Bush did about looking all over the Oval Office for the missing Weapons of Mass Destruction.

"Nope! Not under here!"

What a side-splitting laugh riot that was.

8. "No, Dipshit, when Bush* was on Letterman, he WAS a joke, though a

sad, sick joke. Let me remind you that Bush* -- on camera --cleaned his glasses on Dave's assistant's jacket, without asking her permission. Kerry doesn't treat people like pieces of furniture."

I will never forget seeing Bush* do that; it was surreal.

Good comeback to the rbs! Hope you got applause from other coworkers!

10. by the way my latest letter to the editor
feel free to copy/paste/modify/use it

Dear Editor:

This election year is perhaps the single most important election our country has ever faced and it is up to us, the voters, to decide which road we will take.

This election will not hinge on the economy, social security or even foreign affairs. This election hinges on a choice between fear and hope.

A few weeks ago, Vice-President Cheney implied that voting for Senator Kerry would result in more terrorist attacks. Earlier this week House Speaker Hassert repeated the same "connection", and I'm sure we will continue to hear the same from others. The underlying message is "be afraid - only Bush can stop terrorist attacks."

Senator Kerry's message is one of hope and a belief we can do better. President Bush's message is one of fear and a belief that "close enough is good enough".

History has shown that when Americans are united and challenged - we stand together and work together to meet those challenges. We have many challenges facing us today - and we have a choice. We can hide behind bushes in fear or we can stand up and face the future with confidence.

Hope or Fear - these are our choices in November.
