6. actually it is...
Alaska is the most free state we have, pretty much.. they just like to live their lives and be left alone. It would be the first state to legalize in my view. (and apparently they sort of are the first to take this kind of big step)I admire Alaska, it's it is SO beautiful. (I have been there)

Heyo

2. They were going to do that in Nevada . . .
but then everyone went and voted against the proposition. I think it was for the same amount.

11. I remember something about that too . . .
in any case, it was defeated pretty decisively. Too bad, you'd think that a state with legalized prostitution and gambling would be more accepting of legal pot. It does a lot less harm than people gambling away everything they own.

4. Does anyone remember
that bunch of libertarians who wanted to move en-masse to one particular state so that they cold take over the state government and get things their way? Imagine if all the stoners in the U.S. did the same thing...

13. It used to be decrim to grow pot in Alaska
but I think the right wingers repealed that law a few years back.

16. no kidding?
spent a winter in Anchorage in 75-76 - what a great place to party! I have always wanted to go back. I was a kid but it was like everybody was so cool - nobody cared about your age, gender, background, race, whatever, if you were into smoking a little weed and drinking some alcohol you were welcome to join in - even all the Texans were more relaxed up there!
