Kerry Supporters All Over Downtown Cincy!
I went to Oktoberfest in Cincinnati today. I was stunned that--in that heavily Republican city--hundreds of people were wearing Kerry-Edwards shirts, stickers, and pins! Granted, most of the visitors were probably from out of the city, I was still amazed to see so many open supporters roaming about! Bengals fans, Reds and Cubs fans, Oktoberfest visitors--including some in lederhosen--were sporting Kerry-Edwards stuff. I was quite pleased. I'd say 1 out of 4 people had some Kerry clothing or accessory on

I only saw a dozen or so open Bush supporters.

3. Well
This is the first presidential election in which I've actively participated (since it's the first one I can vote in!), so I've never paid attention to those who wear political clothing. And I don't recall a lot of Clinton/Gore or Gore/Lieberman stuff from when I was younger, so this is all new to me!

2. Well now, there's a perfectly rational explaination for that...

Oktoberfest is a *cultural* event (and a *foreign one at that! :o)...y'know, the kind only freaks and weirdos and commies attend. ;)

5. Yeah
Apparently the Oktoberfest starts in September and climaxes on the first of October. It has something to do with a Bavarian prince's wedding.
