John Kerry on Letterman Monday evening
Didn't I read this somewhere on DU? Sure hope he has an interview with Letterman and not just read the top ten.
Also saw it announced that he will be on Dr. Phil's show in October,
(following Bush's guest appearance.)

1. A good chance to get some good media
Bush has gone on Letterman a few times, and come off very badly each time. I hope Letterman pulls out the tape of Bush using a Late Show staffer to clean his glasses, because that is the best representation of Bush's character ever caught on tape...at least until the 7 minutes in the classroom.

2. Don't forget Bush's
totally insensitive comment about Dave's heart surgery - something about staples and stiches. Dave was disgusted.

4. The glass-wiping would be perfect to show on Letterman
I believe the Bush's are all insensitive; Barbara is always saying something she shouldn't be saying. "Why should I ruin my beautiful
mind" when asked about the dead soldiers being brought home. That made
me shudder to think how cold that woman is.:evilfrown:

8. here's an account of that very revealing incident (and video clip)

http://www.ericblumrich.com/unb.html

"During a commercial break on the David Letterman show, producer Maria Pope was on stage and discussing something with Letterman, and while she was standing there in front of Bush, George leaned forward, grabbed the back of her sweater and used it to clean his glasses."

6. Dr. Phil is not a favorite of mine
He's too much into playing Mr. Perfect with his life. No one says and does the right thing every time, as he professes to do.

7. Will Dave call Kerry a "horseface" in person?
He's wearing out that bit. (haha an unintended pun)
