I used to say "I would never give up my military experience but I
also would never wish it on my worst enemy." I am rethinking that now. I now wish right wingers could experience the Military. Maybe the world could become a better place. I know it sure changed me.

2. While it's true that a lot of GIs vote Republican, the irony is the most
vociferous civilian Republicans have never served.

Quite an irony, eh?

3. I think most who see war up front and personal don't tend to back
it. War has a way of changing a person that otherwise might never be affected.

5. respectfully, i would think that soldiers/national guard
presently in theater or repatriated alive/wounded
would vote for kerry or nader,
unless they are getting their arms twisted,
as well as being/having been tour-of-duty extended,
being/having been shot at, and blown up.

a n d then we have their families...

6. Right Wingers Don't Need the Military....
...they need crappy minimum wage service jobs.

Serving in the military would only serve to make them more confident in themselves.

Serving soccer moms and their spoiled kids fries in a suburban mall for a year or two, while making minimum wage with no benefits....

I bet that'd learn em right quick.
