America will retreat before it will allow a draft.

This is now a plurality war. They can't shove a draft down the throats of the nation.

These days I sincerely wonder if there is *anything* they could not shove down our throats. I'm still shocked we swallowed the Iraq war.

6. They're running out of other options.
If Bush or Kerry try to stick it out in Iraq they will have to have troops, a lot more troops, and they aren't available. Despite all the flag waving and the thinly veiled attempts at buying more volunteers the young people aren't lining up to get shot at in Iraq.

The BS by both candidates about getting surrogates (aka "allies") is just that, BS. Even the "allies" that are there are trying to find a way out.

It's get out of Iraq or look for those nice letters saying "Greetings".
