David Cobb made a great point about Nader today

David Cobb is the Green Party nominee for president this year.

I saw him speak here at Fighting Bob Fest (http://www.fightingbobfest.com) today.

He had this to say about his run and Ralph's runs for presidency.

Cobb said that he personally was running to continue to grow and strengthen the Green Party and advance progressive politics across the country. His goal was not to win, but to help the party build itself.

He then asked the question (paraphrased), "What is Ralph running for? What is his goal?"

by the way, Cobb is a very energetic and powerful speaker. i'm still voting for kerry, but Cobb really turned me on in a political kind of way.

Texas. David Cobb is an inspiration for us all. The first time I saw him speak, I spoke with a friend asking who that man was. He was playing the part of attorney for the plaintiffs in a mock trial against Exxon in early 2002 being held at UTD.

I said to my friend that man is presidential, before I ever knew who he was. I like his intellect and his statesmanship. Much like Senator Byrd.
