Virginia Absentee Ballot Question....my daughter just found
out that she will be in Georgia on November 2. Does anyone know the procedure for absentee ballots in Virginia? (I live in Pa).

Thanks.

2. you can get one online at the gov site or go to municipal center
or go to DOD

you are picking up an app and then mailing that in to get the actual ballot

the other choice is after oct 18th, some DOD and municipal centers let you vote in person with Driver license or voter registration card until oct 30th

3. Lots of states offer "early voting"
She should call the registrar's office..:) (HINT)..if it's a repube area, perhaps she should re-register as a republican, so that her filled out ballot is not "misplaced"//:evilgrin:

4. actually, it would be kind of amusing to register as
repuke for the election and then vote for Kerry. Just kinda make some heads spin.

5. No
Registering Repuke gives aid and comfort to the enemy besides giving further pretext for any vote fraud. The other satisfaction is minimal and won't matter. They have little democracy in their own primaries for US to do mischief in either.

6. Go to www.sbe.state.va.us -- I was on this site today for an
absentee ballot for my brother. It is downloadable from the site.

8. Easy. Many county, city buildings are already open to vote early.
They have voting machines and poll watchers ready for your sister suring certain hours. All she has to do is fill out a form explaining that she won't be here on Nov 2. Call your county gov or city hall for hours and directions.
