Another Wingnut Toilet (Sacramento Union) Is Launched

When I sent my wingnut Vietnam vet the news links from here about "Buckhead" somehow being able to attack CBS within FOUR hours, he, not to be swayed, responded with this, about another wingnut crap outlet being launched. (It's not an article, is an e-mail, no link, so I don't think the copyright restrictions apply.)

I'll be Googling to see what the heck the "Defend (RAYGUN)" crap is.

When Move America Forward – an organization I serve as Chairman of – helped to collect $1.8 million in medical aid that was shipped to the people of Iraq, guess how many media outlets in the entire United States picked up the story?

ONE.

That’s right – we sent out press releases to thousands of media outlets alerting them to this positive step being taken in Operation Iraqi Freedom, but only one... ....

Now, at a time when journalism seems to be overrun with liberal political activists, it’s time for all of us to embrace a new voice, which promises to get the news right and present an alternative editorial voice. ....

So, who is Howard Kaloogian?

Kaloogian is a lawyer who previously "served" three terms in the California state legislature. He is off to the right of Bush, if that is possible.

Kooky Kaloogian is perfect for the job of denying Americans the right to see Michael Moore's latest film. He has plenty of experience. Kaloogian was behind the successful effort to intimidate CBS and stop the network from running the miniseries "The Reagans." For some reason Kaloogian believes this was a victory for free speech. ....

No doubt CBS was worried. Remember the "Brooks Brothers" riot in Florida that prevented a recount of the ballot in 2000? Same thing here. CBS spinelessly caved in to Kooky and his pressure tactics. No telling what sort of phone calls, letters, faxes, and email the big wigs at CBS received before they threw in the towel. I don't know if death threats were sent to the executives at CBS, but I wouldn't doubt it. Rumors are now flying fast and furious that theater owners are receiving death threats. ....

Remember, Kaloogian's arm twisting organization, Move America Forward, has called Moore's film "a recruiting video for al-Qaeda," in other words Moore is a terrorist. It should be more than obvious by now what far right-wingers like Kaloogian and Ashcroft want done to those they consider terrorists. Or, for that matter, those who disagree with Bush.

Finally, on his weblog (moveamericaforward.blogspot.com), Kaloogian pretends to be surprised by a "handful of emails from those who support Michael Moore who are dismayed that we are speaking up. I wonder why they are so afraid of the opinion of the American public?" ....

Shows the level of intellect and maturity. His text was, "Here's Your Hero" and some cracks about JK's medals and (superficial) wounds.

I have sent him dozens of articles, either exposing the Shrubbites or abstract issues. He has never addressed any of those, just sends an Oliver NORTH column or the MUNSTER graphic.

This is news to you, but I wasn't born "worhipping" heroes. I was not aware of KERRY before he started running for president. It was up to the Democratic Party to run a contest to see who would run against the Repuke Party. No matter WHAT Dem runs against ANY Repuke, the Dem (win or lose) is always the better, smarter, more patriotic, most qualified candidate. It has to do with ideas, values, and vision--------not with hero-worship of RAYGUN or Shrub like you guys.

Yep, real mature of you to play little boy games with name-calling and cartoon pictures. But since you bring it up, this pic shows that KERRY looks like LINCOLN (about the only decent Repuke). These days, you wouldn't have let LINCOLN get elected either.
