I'm sad for our country. I'm sad for divisions in the country.
I'm sad that Bush is fooling so many people.
I'm sad that the Bushes are laughing at the American people.
I'm sad for the war.
I'm sad for the truth.
I'm sad for the world.
I'm sad for the soldiers.
I'm sad for the families of the dead soldiers.
I'm sad for the Iraqis.
I'm sad for the press.
I'm just sad.
Are you sad, too?

4. Yep; sad, but optimistic, too...
looking forward to President Kerry's inauguration next January and the end of the long, long B*sh*t nightmare. All we have to do is get from here to there. The road to repairing the country and the world will be long and arduous, but that's EXACTLY what we Democrats do best! :dem:

6. im sorry too for all the sadness
Edited on Sat Sep-18-04 05:07 PM by faithnotgreed
i pray each night for those who are suffering all around the world. we have our work cut out for us but good will prevail
course i give it all to God because i know i cant handle this by myself.... thats not to say everyone should do that just saying what works for me

theres lots of ways to help or get involved. and im sorry for your sadness too. i do believe it will get better but its going to take all of us working together.

i think once kerry gets in and people see that hes not going to ban the bible, or hes not going to repossess all their homes so that he can hand out the money through welfare entitlements, i think people will see hes not the "oh so scary liberal" the hard right has made him out to be

take care friend.... prayers for you and everyone hurting

8. I mourn the passing of civic decency
and common respect.
We don't have to agree, but what happened to upholding the rights of others to have dissenting opinions?

I am sad about

The concentration of wealth into very few hands
The control of information
The disenfranchization through gerymandering and tampering with elections
The lack of respect for other countries
The assault on First Amendment Rights
The stolen election of 2000

But i prefer to stay angry instead.

9. Not that sad
More angry than anything.

It is a sad state of affairs though. No doubt about that.
